This is the first time a top-flight English club has scored 10 during a match since Tottenham beat Crewe Alexandra 13–2 in 1960.
With just 24 hours after completing his £64 million move from Bournemouth, Antoine Semenyo delivered a debut for the ages; he scored his first City goal and also provided an assist for Rico Lewis. 
His performance made him the first player to score and assist on his City debut since Sergio Agüero in 2011.
