Nigerian relationship blessing CEO has finally cleared the air on a video that caused worry among her friends last week.
In a recent interview she had with Sunday Scoop, Blessing CEO denied all rumours. She explained that her fears are not related to the rumour going around about an assault by her partner but to a robbery that happened in her home.
She further explained that the house help who was employed in the house stole valuables from them. The situation got heated as IVD confronted the worker about the theft, which led to a physical fight.
She said, “It was a robbery incident. The boy we employed as a housekeeper robbed us and sold some of our personal belongings. When IVD confronted him, there was a physical altercation. That was what people saw in the video. I only took the video down because the police asked me to remove it so the case could be properly investigated.
Blessing, who happens to be the mother of two, explained that she deleted the post because she was asked to take it down by the police to allow proper investigation.
She also went ahead to state that many people got the whole incident wrong as a result of IVD's past experience with domestic violence. She said that these assumptions are unfair and that on no account is IVD capable of assaulting her, stressing that she is fully ready to defend herself.
She added a strong warning to anyone thinking about the worst.
“People just love negative stories. Because IVD has been associated with domestic violence in the past, many assume any cry for help means he is beating me. But IVD cannot beat me. If he slaps me, I will slap him back. We will fight.”
