Actress and nollywood“>Nollywood filmmaker Omoni Oboli has been recognised as the YouTube Nigeria Content Creator of the Year for 2025, topping the platform’s annual list. The award marks a significant milestone in her career since transforming into digital content creation primarily through her channel, Omoni Oboli TV.
The award was presented at the Google office in Ikoyi, Lagos, during an event organised to celebrate this year’s top trending list and the unveiling of the all-new YouTube recap.
Omoni Oboli‘s channel, which boasts over 1.7 million subscribers, has rapidly grown by consistently releasing premium Nigerian movies. The channel specialises in full-length nollywood“>Nollywood films, with new titles being released every week. 
Her commitment to weekly film releases is a key factor in her chart-topping success, moving past other prominent YouTube personalities in the film and content sector.
Her film “Love in Every Word 2” was singled out by the National Orientation Agency (NOA) after it crossed 13 million YouTube views within one week of its release in late 2025, demonstrating the immense global appetite for her content.
The award-winning YouTube content creator of the year took to her social media page to express profound gratitude for the support she has received and also thanked her fans for their support.
She thanked her cast, crews, and “beautiful besties” (fans) for every view, like, and share, calling them “the wind beneath our wings.” She specifically dedicated the award to her partner, Tomi Adeoye, and her family for their unwavering support
She wrote, “Where do I even begin to glorify you oh Lord! Oh for a thousand tongues to sing your praise. You have been too good to me. I am so unworthy yet you have chosen to bless me in ways I cannot comprehend.
