NTAC DG Buba Yakub Urges Nigerians to Trust Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda at 65th Independence

NTAC DG Yusuf Buba Yakub urges Nigerians to keep faith in President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, salutes Armed Forces, and hails diplomacy efforts as Nigeria marks 65 years of independence.
Abuja — The Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has called on Nigerians to place unwavering faith in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the country celebrates its 65th Independence Anniversary.
In a goodwill message personally signed and released through his media office in Abuja on Wednesday, Yakub described the president’s leadership as a beacon of hope and assured citizens that Nigeria was on the path to growth and rebirth under Tinubu’s guidance.
“Happy 65th Independence Anniversary to our great nation, Nigeria!” he declared.
“Today, we celebrate Nigeria’s rich heritage, diversity, and resilience. I’d like to extend my warm felicitations to His Excellency, the President, on this momentous occasion. We at NTAC commend his administration’s efforts in driving reforms that aim to propel our nation’s growth and development, particularly through the 4-D foreign policy initiative and the Renewed Hope Agenda which are anchored on national rebirth, economic transformation, and collective prosperity.”
Yakub, in his message titled “A Brighter Future Beckons”, expressed optimism that Tinubu’s policy direction would bring transformation and urged Nigerians to rally behind the president’s vision.
“It is a beacon of hope for our nation’s future. We urge all Nigerians to keep faith in this agenda and work together to harness our collective talents, skills, and resources to drive progress and development,” he said.
He further emphasized that collective responsibility, unity, and resilience remain vital to overcoming Nigeria’s challenges.
The NTAC boss also paid glowing tribute to members of the Nigerian Armed Forces for their sacrifices in defending the country’s sovereignty.
“We also salute the bravery and sacrifices of our Armed Forces, who tirelessly work to protect our nation’s sovereignty and ensure peace and security. Their dedication is a testament to the strength and resilience of our great nation,” he noted.
Highlighting the contributions of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps to international diplomacy, Yakub expressed gratitude to the diplomatic community for their collaboration in promoting Nigeria’s technical expertise abroad.
“I’d like to extend special appreciation to the diplomatic community, particularly those who have worked closely with the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC) to promote our nation’s Technical Expertise and Development Diplomacy. Through NTAC, we’ve deployed over 10,000 Technical Experts to more than 40 countries, fostering people-to-people connections, strengthening institutional capacity, and enhancing Nigeria’s standing in the international community,” he explained.
Yakub concluded his message with a call for unity and a shared commitment to building a stronger nation that will benefit future generations.
“As we look to the future, let us remain committed to nation-building and work together to build a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come. May God bless Nigeria and guide us towards a prosperous and peaceful tomorrow. Happy Independence Day!”
