Mercy Aigbe Stuns at the Colours of Fire Premiere

Nollywood star Mercy Aigbe shut down the Colours of Fire premiere in Lagos with a stunning fire-themed gown and wings, embodying her character Efunsetan.

Nollywood fashion icon Mercy Aigbe lived up to her reputation as the “Queen of the Red Carpet” during the star-studded premiere of Niyi Akinmolayan’s latest epic, Colours of Fire, in Lagos this December.

Channeling her character, Efunsetan, Aigbe arrived in a breathtaking ensemble that perfectly mirrored the film’s title and mystical themes.

The outfit was a masterclass; the red gown featured a sweeping train and intricate gold and red embroidery designed to mimic flickering flames with a structured corset bodice with a sweetheart neckline and massive, oversized feathered wings in layers of crimson, orange, and yellow that rose from her back, creating a literal “phoenix” effect.
