YOLA — To further its goal of advancing social progress and development in Bachure and the surrounding areas, the Adamawa State Like-Minds and Community Progressive Forum Bachure (ASLMCPFB) has appointed new executives.
The swearing-in ceremony, conducted by Barrister Sabo Mohammed at a primary school in Bachure-Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area, saw Mr Sunday Stephen assume office as chairman, alongside Iliya Ayuba as vice-chairman, Bukar Abbsadiq as secretary, and Daji Sani as public relations officer, among other executive members.
In his acceptance speech, Chairman Sunday Stephen pledged to serve the community with dedication and transparency, outlining the forum’s plans to engage in community development projects, promote social welfare, and support vulnerable members of the community.
“The new executives are expected to work closely with community leaders and stakeholders to address pressing issues affecting the community, including education, healthcare, and economic empowerment,” Stephen stated.
Barrister Sabo Mohammed, who administered the oath of office, urged the new executives to remain committed to their responsibilities and work toward the betterment of the community.
