This initiative, under the leadership of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, is targeted at academically outstanding students from government schools across the state.

Eligibility & Strict Requirements
In order to be considered for the 2026 Special Scholarship, applicants must strictly adhere to the following:
- Indigeneship: Must be a certified indigene of Adamawa State.
- Exceptional Merit: Must have achieved nine (9) credits in one sitting in either the 2025 WAEC or NECO O-Level examinations.
- Government School Background: This specific scholarship is reserved for students who have completed their secondary education in a government-owned school.
- Higher Education Status: Must have secured admission into a government university (state or federal) and met the required JAMB cut-off for your course.

Required Documents for Scanned Upload
Before the portal opens next Wednesday, all applicants are expected to have clear digital copies of the following:
- Indigene Certificate (showing your local government of origin).
- 2025 WAEC or NECO result slip (showing the 9 credits).
- University Admission Letter (Government institutions only).
- JAMB Result Slip.
- Recent Passport Photograph.
Advice for Applicants
